    Low Key area. In our opinion a perfect little beach town. Not overly developed. The location of this house is perfect. For large or multiple families this is ideal. Very clean and nicely appointed.

    The house had everything we needed for our family of seven adults and one baby. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Living room was a little on the small side but the spacious deck made up for that. Being so close to the beach was also a plus. We enjoyed the little town of Rockaway and had several delicious meals in the local restaurants. We also took the train ride to Garibaldi which was beautiful and lots of fun. Kitchen needed a few more serving dishes and the pots and pans weren't as nice as we are used to when we rent a house. However, overall the house was one of our favorites of the many houses we have rented over the years. We would definitely rent it again or recommend to friends.

    A nice, small Oregon coast town with conveniences (shops, restaurants) but not "citified". A very good fit for our party of 10 with four distinct bedrooms and a kitchen/living room area that easily accommodated all of us. Kitchen was well appointed.

    For owner's info, not published comments: Electrical outlets in master bath were not working. Latch on washer? or dryer? was sticking (can't remember which one). There is a loose side slat on the futon couch. The fireplace control was not working - perhaps dead batteries.

    The property was in a great location, right across the street from the beach. It was very clean and had enough space for 8 people. It sorely lacked in serving dishes but that was the only complaint.

    Over all Bali High is a great facility for a beach vacation. Close to the beach, close to the market, and close to other businesses. The beds were great and there is room for 8 plus a possible 9th person if the futon is used! Cooking in was very convenient and the appliances and dishes/pans/flatware/etc were sufficient for preparing good meals. Carpet on stairs and in living room was stained and had lots of spots, TV remote did not work, and microwave control panel was loose, but worked fine. (All these items could easily be corrected and did not detract for the over all ambiance of the 3 story duplex.) A 2 car garage was available, also.

    Will go back again, and will definitely recommend to friends and anyone else looking for a reasonalby priced, comfortable, and coveniently located place to vacation at the beach.

    This house had very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The living and kitchen were a bit small for all of us to be comfortable. Could have used more kitchen "stuff". The Fouth of July is a great time to stay in Rockaway, this house is right in the middle of all the fun.
