  We had a great time at the Brynmarie. It's in a wonderful location right across the street from beach access, so our lucky dog got numerous beach walks each day. The house itself was clean and comfortable. This was our second time at the Brynmarie because we had such a great experience a couple years ago! Overall, we had a great, relaxing weekend and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

  Our family has rented many different properties from Sunset and this is one of the best by far. The furniture was decent, the house was decorated nicely, and the place was very clean. The view was fantastic from the deck and master bedroom. We saw 2 really great sunsets. I can't really think of anything that was wrong with the place besides some faulty lounge chairs. We will definately choose this place again.

  The location was great, close to town and across the street from the beach. The wood stove was perfect for Oct. We found the house to be clean and meet the needs of two and a dog. Only issues were not have many baking pans, could not find an outside garbage can, and the hot water heater seemed to run out quickly when showering. However, these were all minor things that were easy to live with. We will definatly stay again.

  Great views and location. We could see and hear the ocean, also had great view of Neakahne Mt. Path to beach is right across the street; 4 minute walk to Lenada / downtown. We had three adults and two kids; beds were very comfortable.
  Could not have asked for better weather - large deck w chairs ideal for happy hour and sunsets....and rinsing off wetsuits.
  We would certainly rent this house again.

  Overall it was a great house to rent. I felt they should have provided more cleaning supplies like Ajax. Also, the gas grill is very old and doesn't work that great.

  Like the place and, because we try to stay there every year, it'd be VERY nice to get that sliding glass door to the back porch fixed. It takes two people hauling as hard as they can to open it.

  We needed a place to get away. We needed a place that would take our wonderful well-behaved dogs that love the beach as much as we do. Sunset Vacation Rentals recommended BrynMarie and we were more than delighted that it was available on short notice. Beach access is right across the street, 2/10s of a mile from town, a comfortable bed, the sound of the waves, not so fancy that you worry about messing anything up, but perfectly appointed with everything you need. Good linens and a comfy bed, big windows to watch waves and sunsets. And lucky us, warm weather at the end of October with just a little bit of warm wind. The kind of days that make you go back to the Oregon coast. We will definitely be back to BrynMarie.

  The location is the best of anything, its literally 10 seconds from the beach and a few minutes from the cool little town. Everything is walking distance and you feel good doing it. The bed was pretty comfortable, better than I thought, but the couches need some work all three couches were pretty uncomfortable. Other than that though, all the other amenities were near perfect, great water pressure and shower, and the barbeque is in a really cool place. Kitchen works but if your planning to cook anything beyond scrambled eggs I would bring your own pots and pans because they are very old and very thin.

  Beds were super comfortable, the deck large, the kitchen adequate (oven burns hot), and the view wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay and would return to this rental. Only tips I would lend are: bring your own cookware as there is not much there, be prepared to haul all of your stuff up some steep stairs as there is no driveway access that puts you close to a door (house sits up on a hill). Also, TV is tricky....some better instructions would be helpful to renters.

  Great view and location (right across the street from the beach access); a short walk into town. Cozy little cottage with lots of light and charm. The bathroom could use some updating and there wasn't enough hot water for one shower, but otherwise perfectly suited for our small family and priced right.

  Kitchen was lacking in organization and ability to find cookware easily. I was looking for a few things and never found them back in the corner.
  The best part of the beach house was the view and the proximety to downtown and park areas.
  After adding up all the charges, this ended up being a pretty expensive rental at about $240 per night (including a pet charge, $70 cleaning charge and other various charges). For a 2 bd 1 ba place, I probably would explore other less expensive options in the future.

  Good location with good views and terrific beach access. Very efficient layout. Close to everything. A good place to stay for small groups. We had 5 and it worked great, but would not go any more than that. Stove top burners a little unpredictable (read HOT) but otherwise fine. Woodstove worked great. We hope to return.

  Nice place for small family. A bit cold at night - due to little insulation? Heaters work OK, but noisy at night if you want to keep warm. Remotes for TV/Dish hard to figure out, even for our teenager.

  We had a very pleasant stay in Manzanita staying in Brynmarie. The house stays warm and cozy, the wood stove is great! We liked the location and the views of the ocean through the many windows. The kitchen stove is not user friendly. Next time we will plan on using the propane grill for cooking. Overall great few days.

  I had a great time...the house is beautiful, the view is wonderful. For me, as a single woman, wanting to feel free to stay alone, I wish that there were curtains or blinds on the large sliding glass door, the glass front door and the kitchen window. It was very strange to be on view from the street, and the house to the side and behind me at night if I wanted to have the light on. You could even see straight from the front door into the master bedroom, I had it open and a neighbor waved at me!
  
  It is a wonderful house...with an amazing ocean view, just needs a few blinds!

  This prperty is in an ideal location, and it's especially nice to be above street level. We enjoyed the big porch, ocean view, open floorplan, and the ability to bring our dog. Thank you owners! The beds were comfy and the house was spotless - felt like
  a hotel. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had to park in the street (down the steps) instead of the driveway, the barbeque grill barely works - and heats only in one small cooking area, and the yard had lots of dog poop that didn't
  get removed by/after previous guests. Those aren't deal-breakers at all, so we would still want to stay here again. A very nice house!

  Lovely location and view, easy to work with rental company. We unfortunately had some problems with the water heater- Sunset was quick to send someone out, but I'm still not sure it is fixed. Furniture & kitchen definitely could use some updating, but are workable. Some small additions like a stereo or ipod dock, wireless, an oyster knife, and kindling or fire starters would be nice.

  The views were gorgeous and the location was fantastic. When we weren't walking on the beach, we were staring at the ocean through the living room & dining room windows. The house was fine. Cozy enough, but not so nice that I had to worry about my two year old son. The only negative is that the house could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom.

  Having stayed at this rental for the 3rd time now, I know exactly what to expect....I keep coming back for the wonderful view and comfy bed...the sound of rain on the roof is dreamy. The only drawbacks to this rental are a poorly appointed kitchen (good space and appliances are all fine but bring your own cookware....and I mean everything...and any spice you might need because the cupboards are BARE), slightly uncomfortable living room furniture, and the lack of access to load/unload. YOu must haul your stuff up and down the steep stairs in front as there is no driveway access.
  But really, I keep coming back because it's a lovely place.

  A deck with ocean view & windows all across the front of the house made this a great place even when the weather was rainy. The close beach access made it easy to get out to the ocean during the weather breaks. Well lit kitchen with nice layout. The single bathroom was small but adequate. Cozy beds. Downside was that the house is on a main road, but house is up higher and tucked in at the top of a bank of shrubbery which helps.
