Manzanita - As you walk into this newer two level home, you will notice the lovely light décor. The downstairs has two bedrooms- a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with two sets of bunk beds and a Foos ball table, each room lovingly decorated and dressed to please. This level allows access to the terrific backyard with pond and the luxurious hot tub to experience all the calm and serenity this home has to offer. Upstairs has a great room with vaulted ceilings. This room features the dining room, living room and observation area, equipped with binoculars to catch every surprise visit outside. This area has a slider for easy access to the deck and a wood burning stove for cozy conversation. Also on this level is the terrific kitchen, fully equipped, and two more gorgeous bedrooms, one master bedroom with slider to the deck, and a guest bedroom. Both levels have bright bathrooms with beautiful countertops and tile, with the upper level bath featuring a Jacuzzi tub. This home is graciously decorated with wildlife sculptures and arrangements, featuring many different species of birds and native plants -bringing the outdoors experience into you. The décor of this home is natural and organic with warm colors, comfortable furnishing. So much to see, so much to do - you'll come for week and want to stay for a month. Located just ¾ mile out of the downtown area and only a short walk to the beach, this four bedroom home is great for families or larger groups. You have your choice of staying indoors and enjoying the Foos ball table downstairs or relaxing in the hot tub that overlooks a lush and lively creek. Enjoy the Gas BBQ on the upper deck that overlooks the creek. Either way you can't go wrong.

We had a wonderful time at Elk Creek! We had 12 people and fit just fine. The property is a very short walk to the beach. The back yard is beautiful. The pictures just don't do it justice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing we brought with us was a crockpot. Everyone loved the Jacuzzi. If ever we needed anything we called SVR and they were right there to help. The town was very cute with fun shops and a rental shop for all your "beach" needs. We would definitely stay here again!

My family loved this place! We've been coming to the coast for several years and this is the best rental we've had yet!
The place was clean with nice furnishings. We really enjoyed looking at the wetlands behind the property.

Very suitable house for our family's week in Manzanita. Well maintained, comfortable furnishings, convenient location. The pleasant surprise for me was the beautiful view of the wetland area out the back deck. A great blue heron practically lived there the whole week. I really felt like we got away to a retreat type weekend. The house was all windows in the great room, and while we did not have a view of the beach, we had an enchanting landscape of a wetlands preserve area to look at. It was very relaxing and very soothing. We have rented homes on the oceanfront, and honestly, by the time the sun sets, it is not worth the considerable cost to have the ocean front setting. Elk Creek was well laid out, very well equipped, we are a family of gourmet cooks and everything we needed, including a blender and nice tools, were available. We could hear the ocean from the house and see it from our window in the master bedroom. Very clean and while my brother brought his dog, the hardwood floors in the upstairs great room made me feel like I had no issues with previous pet dander, etc. Thank you to the owner for having such a lovely home and sharing it.

A excellent place for a large crowd. Comfortable beds and sleeping quarters. Nice layout and serene backyard. Not much view of the beach, but just a short walk from the house. I would certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Elk Creek. The walk to the beach was short and the property is very accessible to downtown Manzanita. Loved the deck and the backyard. The property provided everything we needed as far as the kitchen was concerned. We had 9 people
there (and sometimes guests for meals) and there was plenty of plates, glasses, etc. We would definitely return!

This is our second stay at Elk Creek and it was wonderful. We were there for 6 nights and enjoyed ourselves. Not much wildlife in Elk Creek this stay, but there were also some storms in the area. The master bed is so comfy! Open living area and just couldn't have been any nicer of a stay.

We had a great time. We all loved loved the deck especially the dog. It was a very pleasant walk to the beach. Having to fax a signature even when booking online was inconvenient.
This place was spotless, great cleaning crew! The hot tub was so much fun with the background of frogs in the wetland area. Only 2 blocks from the beach and .7 miles from the main street in Manzanita, we had such a great time!

We planned BBQ for Saturday night and ended up having to broil 1/2 of flank steak because only 1/2 of the grill worked. I wouldn't plan on a BBQ for a big group here.

It was a wonderful house for 10 to stay for a girl's weekend. Nice, open floorplan for lots of togetherness while cooking, eating and hanging out. The kitchen was well-stocked which made cooking easy. Very fun!
Was great accommodations for our groups -- 2 families of 4 plus a grandparent. Hot tub added a special touch. Was a little further from the beach then we thought, but did not seem to be a problem.

Parking is a bit tight for 4 large vehicles.

This property was very nice! We really all had a great time. I do not agree with having to do the laundry because of the cleaning fee that we paid. It is a vacation and I don't feel that doing laudry should be part of that.

  We ask that you start the laundry as it is to hard for the cleaners to get all of the laundry done on a back to back. No need to finish just get it started. We are glad you enjoyed the home!

We had a lovely time. We are regular renters on VRBO so have stayed in numerous homes. we were please w/ the hot tub condition (thank you) and displeased that we arrived w/ filets to grill and had no gas our first evening and had to wait until saturday morning to receive gas, but he did show promptly which we appreciated. the house was comfortable - only downside was: we dont expect soap or shampoo etc but we felt provining one single trash bag for the kitchen was chintzy and cheap. The fridge stated "all laundry but one load was to be done" - well how does one do all the laundry and do dishes for 4 days and empty garbages for 4 days w/ 7 people if supplies are not provided? Lastly, what the fridge says contractually and what the contract says are 2 different things. the contract would supersede the fridge obligations. this was irritating and the rules were excessively stated "by the hour" - other than that we loved the house - we simply felt these were a few of our irks that didnt jive w/ renting a home on VRBO and our past experiences. we left the house spotless.

Kitchen faulet leaks when fully open. Refrigerator door shelf broken and come on and off easily. Bathrooms could be cleaner. All else was fine. PS: Yes thiers Elk in Elk Creek just beautiful.
