  We loved it - it was great!
  My only complaint was the house was very cold when we got there and took a few hours to warm up. It would have been nice if the heat had been turned up a little and/or there had been a starter pack of firewood for us on arrival.

  We have rented several houses in Manzanita over the years. This property had the best stocked kitchen (i.e. pots, pans, utensils, etc.)of all of them. We also liked the private location, ocean views and easy beach access. I would rent this house again and also would recommend it to friends.

  This was our second year at Gentle Breeze and we have signed up for another. The house itself suits our family needs very well given the four bedrooms. The house is just a block off the beach, which is great, but it is a mile south of downtown Manzanita, which is a minor inconvenience.
  The house was generally very clean with a couple of minor exceptions, which we noted on the list in the house. Better lighting in the living room for reading would be a definite plus.

  The house would benefit from a couple of good reading lamps in the living room. The location is convenient to the beach but a mile south of downtown. The house's four bedrooms suit my family's needs nicely, which is a major factor in our renting this house
  for the fifth time.

  Our family was very pleased with our stay at Gentle Breeze. The house was ideal for our family get together, for sleeping, eating and playing and the beach was only a block away. We would definitely like to stay there again.

  Overall this was a great property for our extended family! Beds were adequate, seating in the living and dining area was tops. The deck needs more furniture, and an ice maker would be nice, but it's very quiet, close to beach, golf, and crabbing.

  This is a nice and roomy place, convenient to the beach (with a decent view) and the park at Nehalem Bay. It's a little way from town, but we preferred that. Aside from a couple of small upkeep items, the house was in great shape, and the kitchen really well stocked. My only complaint was that Sunset Rentals, as helpful as they were, seemed to change the rate policy when we switched to this house from another we had just reserved. Thanksgiving rentals go for high season rates. Also, expect rain (we did).

  Washing machine didn't complete spin cycle & placement of new machines in garage prevented us from parking car in garage. Location of home is great and house was spotless.

• we filled out the form on the counter with the things that were not working properly. The refrigerator door was very loose and so things did not stay very cold. The microwave oven's turntable did not rotate (missing piece).
