Well, they did forget to clean the place which seemed a little odd as the day before we checked in was the only day in July the house wasn't booked. But mgmt got someone out within 20 minutes and they did a quick cleaning. But don't let that deter you. For the fantastic location and views from this house, the price is one of the best values I've seen anywhere on the Oregon Coast. Literally 20 feet off the back deck and you are on the beach.
The view from the back deck and inside the house is fantastic. I could sit on the back deck and be a little more than a stone's throw from where my boys were playing in the sand. I like Rockaway because it is quiet, but close to so many other locations (Long Beach, Astoria, Seaside, etc). I would bet I'll be renting this again next summer.

the little extras are what made us feel so welcome. this is the first time we have ever rented a vacation home and did not expect the extras. the note on the fridge from the homeowner made us feel welcome right away and the kids enjoyed playing with the sand toys and body boards. hopefully this will get to the home owner because we would like to say Thank You it was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and enjoy a family vacation. Hopefully we can come back in a few years.

I have been to this house for the last 6 yrs.The house is always in tip top shape and the kitchen fully loaded with utensils;pots,pans,coffee maker and so on... This last time we went to the house they were so graciously kind to let us come in early.. we really appreciated it but much to our surprise once the bedding was drawn back there was sand between the sheets. I did report the finding and we washed the bedding. This was the first time this has ever happened so I could not be to upset (management apologized and said they would keep an eye out so this would not occur again)

The location was excellent and the condition of the cabin, even though in the process of being upgraded was very good. Would recommend to anyone and may even come back for a return visit (have not slept that good in a long time). For future renovation plans, the bathroom needs more light and a ceiling fan in the main living area would be a definite plus.

We had a great time at KVL. The entire set up is conducive to making the ocean the centre piece of the stay. Four large windows, a big deck with picnic table and of course, the chairs out front where you can put your feet up and listen to the non stop ocean waves crashing onto the beach that was such a delight to walk and run along.
A very relaxing stay. Will recommend it to friends.

Knot Very Lodge has an amazing view right on the beach! The open space plan is very comfortable and the main bedroom is a good size. The bathroom is the only real disappointment - the room is small and dark, and the shower stall is very small.

What a way to spend Christmas. The location was the best. The steps to the beach a bit tricky if you are short or disabled in some way but we found another way down to the water not too far away. Thought the place could use some updates. Only two burners on the stove worked and the recliners were in not too good of shape. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely book again.

This is the second time we have stayed in this oceanfront rental. It has an incredible location and the cabin has everything you need. Our only complaint is the bed in the master bedroom. It is truly awful! The mattress hurts your back and needs to be
