  I debated on whether to give this house the great reviews it deserves or hiding it for myself. The pictures online do not do it justice, this is a GREAT property. We stayed five nights and the house had everything we needed, especially want to note the excellent board game selection. I would love to stay here again.

  We loved the Tranquil Treasure home. It was perfect for two couples. The view was breathtaking and just what we wanted. While we walked the beach my husband read and enjoyed the ocean from the house. We did wish that there was a bathroom on the upper level to accomodate one of the guests. We enjoyed cooking at home, the lovely fireplace and peaceful atmosphere.

  They say that the best beach properties are right on the beach, beach frontage. Not necessarily so. Tranquil Treasure has a spectacular view of both beach and mountains. Tucked into the trees and hillside, this house is comfortable, well appointed with
  a great living space and a deck we love because it is protected from both direct sun and the wind. Easy access to the beach, golf course and town puts you right in the middle of all the activity one should reasonably have during a vacation.

  This is the third time we have dealt with Sunset Rental and they are wonderful to work with. Of course having wonderful weather on Friday and Sarueday made it a very memorable time. We hope to go back again.

  Really enjoyed the stay- spotless and well kept property. Great view and comfortable - except for the futon couches..I'd rather sit on the floor- but that's me. That said, it was still awesome and I'd recommend it to anyone. Great value.

  We celebrated our 20th anniversary this trip. We have been staying at this same house each year for over 10 yesrs. We love the house and the location and the fact that the owners take pride in everything in the house. With a beautiful view and cozy fire we love to come here rain or shine.

  Modern, clean, great location, wonderful deck. Kitchen was well equiped... no need to eat out with the view. Nice to have one king bed, one queen bed and two bathrooms. Perfect for two couples.

  We really liked this home, and even though it was just my wife and I, the place would also be great for 2 couples. The home is very clean, and has a great view from the entire upstairs. It's also just across the beach and down a short path to the beach, so while it's not technically "oceanfront", it's pretty close. The only complaint, and it's very minor, is that we'd like better TV reception than rabbit ears can provide.

  We had a great time with quick access to the beach and town amenities. We loved that it was kid friendly and enjoyed the porch and fireplace very much. An upstairs restroom would have been nice, but with an amazing view like this one, why would we complain? :)

  Soaking in the claw foot tub with the sun streaming in alone was worth the price of admission. The view, the deck, the space, the deer grazing in the front yard. We loved the apparent thoughtfulness that went into the design/construction of this home. Walking to town is a breeze. The bed very comfortable. Highly recommend.

  Tranquil Treasure in Manzanita is a very nice house with great views, short walk to the beach and businesses. The place is extremely clean and organized which is almost a downside as there are notes everywhere telling you to "do this, don't do that". If you don't mind that, its a wonderful place.

  Very nice house, simply and cleanly decorated, lots of windows, well-equipped kitchen, good views, comfy beds, nice baths (shower in the guest bath, tub in the large master bath, both with windows). Overall my partner and I were very pleased with the property (and I am pretty picky). The bathroom arrangement is a bit funky: to get to the backyard where the grill is located, you have to go through the guest bath. The two bathrooms are located on the lower level which is a little inconvenient when you're hanging out in the upstairs living area. Other minor concerns: The house is difficult to find at night (no markings on street); the driveway is very steep which could be a challenge for some. If I were to voice any complaint it would be about the notice that directed us to wash/unload dishes, wash/fold towels & linens, tidy up the house, etc. before checking out. I expected the $100 cleaning fee to cover...the cleaning.
