Cannon Beach- A family retreat for over twenty years, the house is often described by friends as an "Old School" Pacific Northwest beach house. Many fine meals have been shared here, many movies watched by the fire and songs sung around the piano. At this house, dogs are people too and they are more than welcome to curl up for a happy nap, run in the fenced backyard or take their people down to the beach for a walk. Nicknamed "Kites", the space is artist and photographer friendly with deck views, front and back, beamed cathedral ceiling in the living room and a stellar 160 degree ocean view all along the west side. The back deck overlooks the kid and pet friendly yard and is surrounded by a deep wooded lot. Four bedrooms and three baths easily sleep six but one person or a couple can feel cozy here. With parking for three cars and an easy access ramp, amenities include; a two cook kitchen with an ocean view, WI-FI internet access, dish T.V., living room video tape or DVD player, I-Pod dock, large spa tub and walk-in shower in the master bath. There is also a barbeque on the back deck and a covered backyard area for wet weather days. A five minute drive north to the Cannon Beach galleries, shopping and dining on historic Highway 101, you can also discover the charm and beach grandeur of Manzanita fifteen minutes to the south.
