The house layout was perfect for two large families and one other couple. The beds were a little squeaky, but comfortable. The last garbage day was apparently missed because the cans were overflowing, but overall it was quite nice.
Our party of nine enjoyed a wonderful stay at Buena Vista!! The home was well equipped and beautifully decorated; the ocean view was gorgeous; furnsihings were comfortable. Our six men enjoyed the ping pong table; the foosball table needsto be replaced. The beach was sunny and uncrowded every day, and we could not have asked for a better vacation.
Very nice place, clean and spacious,loved the big dinning room table, but the furniture was as back killing as a huge beanbag. Overall a very nice place.

Upgrade furniture in downstairs living room and it would be perfect.
We had a great time! It was so much fun and we got to have all of the 5 girls in the bunk room which was awesome! The kids and the adults were seperated which made it perfect. The location was also perfect and right next to the beach. Thank You so much :)
Good location, house fine except it would be nice to have had the master bedroom over-the-bed lights working. The list of fines for various infractions (list on the refrigerator) was rather intimidating - better to just list them with the original agreement when we made reservations.
There were some ants in the lower level. Previous guest had also mentioned. less than a 1/4 roll of toilet paper was in house. Not good. Overall though our stay was enjoyable and we think one of the most comfortable and well arranged homes we have stayed in on our many trips to Rockaway Beach with Sunset Vacation Rentals.
The upstairs toilet never turned off. When it was almost full, the water would reduce to a trickle, they stay that way. The valve needs to be replaced. You could be losing a lot of money on just the water bill for this.
We'd asked the owner (in Providence Spirit's ad) about ease of reaching the second floor, due to 2 people with disabilities. We were assured the stairs were easy and had handrails. The stairs are especially steep due to NO handrailings. Once up, these women had to stay put until time to leave; one had to descent backwards due to arthritis and lack of railings. There were a few repairs needed, such as dryer timer; we left notes. But the large, airy, light-filled upstairs room and view to ocean were a delight, even with storms and heavy snow showers. The large dining table was great for crab cracking and board games! We enjoyed despite a few inconveniences.
although the last time we stayed there, there was no fry pan, this time there was which was very good as we forgot ours from home.
Good location. Dangerous deck for children and dangerous stairway for all. The deck rails were too wide and not built to code, at least not in our state. Little kids under 7 should not be allowed there without constant supervision. The stairs are very steep with no handrails. I was a nervous wreck watching my inlaws try to navigate up or down the stairs. Carpets were very soiled, I guess that comes with high vacancy rates? Ignition out on the barbeque, had to drive to town to buy a lighter. Anyway good location.
The location and floor plan were great, but the oven didn't work (major problem when you're hosting a family reunion!) and things just felt a little neglected. The bunk beds were very squeaky and a little loose. The bathmat was wet when we arrived. Usually when I rent houses, there are a few staples in the kitchen cupboards, but this one had barely any. No baking soda, no sugar, no coffee filters. For the money, I really expected a bit better, including a working oven.
The owner has replaced the oven, refridgerator and dryer.
