Secret Garden ~ MCA 1504

Secret Garden is an aptly named, inimitable treasure of a rental property. The home has abundant natural lighting and beautiful plants, and of course the sauna and hot tub are amazing! It's also very conveniently located (just steps away from a small market and the ocean). Very highly recommend this stay.

Secret Garden was a wonderful place for our "ladies" getaway. It is just a block off the main street through Manzanita so it was easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Beds are comfortable, ample seating in the living room and dining room, artsy decor, and well stocked kitchen. The sauna and hot tub were the icing on the cake along with the firepit. The house is very clean and the management staff friendly and helpful.

Had a great stay. Wonderful location near the main drag and the beach. Peaceful location and perfect for the family.

Great location within walking distance from the beach and restaurants. The property has a nice private backyard space with a grill, hot tub, and sauna. The interior is beachy with some dated features that could use some TLC including stains on the carpet and tiles missing in the bathroom. We stayed at this property for 7 nights and spent over $4,300. We moved the furniture around to watch TV and moved one of the two small dining room tables we weren't using to an unused room. A couple days after our stay we received a threatening email from the Rental company that we might receive additional fines for moving the furniture from it's original staged placement along with possible bad guest reviews on SVR and other home sharing sites. This is despite the fact that nothing was damaged, no partying at the property or noise complaints, we washed the laundry we used, took the full garbage from previous guests to the street, cleaned all used dishes, picked up dog poop from previous guests, and left the property clean. They decided not to fine us but said that we are not welcome to come back to this property. As if we would ever want to come back to a place so unwelcoming to their guests who spent a week there.

Beautiful home - close to town without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. Quick walk to the beach.

My in-laws, husband, and two young children had a truly delightful stay in this wonderful home. We spent much of our time in the beautiful backyard, playing and enjoying the bees and hummingbirds. The adults loved the hot tub and sauna as well. Location is awesome and we got coffee everyday at Offshore Grill and could walk to the beach for sunset. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!

Lovely beach cottage with beautiful outside gardens. Close to main street with easy beach access. Good communication from property management. House could use some updating on things like towels, sheets, bedding. Kitchen is small but updated.

Everything was awesome. The house is even cooler than the photos. The 3 minute walk to the beach was excellent. The kitchen was amazing and efficiently set up. The beds were super comfy. Seriously can’t wait to go back!

Lovely house with plenty of space for up to three couples. We were only two couples, so were spoiled for space. Includes a great sauna and hot tub which we used a lot. Two dining room tables and a deck with table gave us lots of eating space. Second bathroom is small and combined with laundry, but is a minor issue. Parking is 50ft away, but you can access the back yard from a side gate for moving luggage in and out. Doors can lock behind you. So keep one key outside!

Loved the location. Block off the main strip in town. A few blocks to the beach. Outdoor space was great! Love the covered deck, hot tub and sauna!

House was cozy but needs a clean out of clutter. Almost every drawer had something in it which made it hard to unpack clothes for a week. The house could also use a major deep clean as the blinds had mold and the light fixtures needed to be dusted. Otherwise it was great.

We had a great time here. It's super convenient to groceries/coffee/beach but still feels secluded and private. The second big table is perfect for board games, and the kitchen is really nice. I really appreciated the houseplants - felt like a home. Thank you!

Having stayed in many vacation rentals, I can safely say this home and experience met and exceeded expectations. The property is as depicted - no tricky pics to make it look bigger or better than it is. This is a well-appointed and well-loved home - not just a rental. We love to cook, and the kitchen is fully stocked. We used the hot tub and the fire pit. Everything about this experience was positive, including working with the SSVR staff who were always friendly and accommodating. We'll be back. And we're already telling our friends about it!

We stayed over Christmas and the house was perfect - great layout, comfortable and easy to relax in, very close to everything in town, and a quick walk to the beach. We cooked every meal and the kitchen was really stocks (you can ask for pictures of what the kitchen has, which was super helpful). The sauna and hot tub were amazing!! Also the fire pit was great in the evenings, as well as the gas bbq for grilling. We had a wonderful time, and the check in and check out process was seamless. Everyone couldn't say how perfect the house was. thanks again, we'd love to come back!!

My partner and I had such an amazing time vacationing in Manzanita and staying here at the Secret Garden! This house is beautiful and so homey. All of the nature surrounding it offers your own oasis close to the coast. Sunset Vacation Rentals was very sweet and offered great cleanliness and instructions for our stay, along with providing us with restaurants and suggestions for our stay.
We will definitely be back!

Our two dogs loved hanging out with us in this adorable home—and we loved the hot tub, sauna, and super well appointed kitchen! Will definitely try to come back soon.
